Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team and provide high-quality support to individuals in care home or home care settings. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and nutrition, ensuring dignity and comfort at all times
- Follow individualized care plans to meet each client’s specific needs and preferences
- Support clients in engaging with social activities and maintaining their independence
- Maintain clear communication with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update client records regularly
- Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed, ensuring safe transportation and adherence to schedules
- Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols within the care setting
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
- Basic IT literacy for documentation and updating care records accurately
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt to changing needs with flexibility and compassion
Pay: £12.71-£12.75 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
