Parts Advisor
Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Salary: Up to £32,500 DOE + Bonus (£40,000 OTE)
The Role
Following significant investment in our aftersales operation and continued growth across the business, Taylors Jaguar Landrover & Renault are looking to strengthen our Parts Department with the addition of an experienced Parts Advisor.
With a total of 52 workshop ramps, Taylors has continued to expand its specialist capabilities, including the opening of our Jaguar Land Rover Rapid Recovery Centre (10 ramps) and Renault Excellence Hub (8 ramps). These dedicated facilities support increasing volumes of manufacturer warranty and specialist repair work, creating an exciting opportunity to join our established and successful team.
Working within our busy Parts Department, dealing with Warranty, Retail and Trade Sales, the successful candidate will be responsible for covering the Parts Desk, handling enquiries via telephone, email and face-to-face, coordinating the daily distribution of parts to technicians, utilising manufacturer parts catalogue systems, managing stock control and returns, and undertaking general day-to-day administration duties.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
- Ideally have at least 12 months' experience working within an Automotive Parts Department.
- Be sales-focused and commercially aware.
- Have strong customer service skills.
- Be reliable, conscientious and capable of working on their own initiative.
- Have a flexible approach to work.
- Be a team player.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the accurate and timely completion of all department duties and administration.
- Plan ahead and manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed.
- Build and maintain professional working relationships with customers, colleagues, suppliers and external representatives.
- Remain professional, calm and positive at all times.
- Continually assess personal performance and undertake professional development activities.
