Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Ground Worker/Labourer to join our dynamic construction and civil engineering team. Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, setting up barriers, and organizing materials
- Support skilled workers by carrying tools, equipment, and supplies around the site
- Help with excavation, digging, and groundwork tasks as directed by supervisors
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards across the work area by removing waste and hazards
- Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks and storage areas
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Support the team during various construction activities to ensure timely project progress
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions clearly
- Prior experience in construction or manual labour is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to construction sites is preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment
