Derwen Joinery manufacture purpose made joinery such as windows, doors, Q-Mark fire doors, stairs and mouldings.
Derwen Joinery is based in Wrexham and we are looking for an experienced wood machinist/bench joiner to join our team and develop in-house towards a production manager role.
Requirements & Expectations of Carpenter/Wood Machinist:
NVQ Level 2 in Bench Joinery or Wood machinery
Good experience in a workshop environment
Full UK drivers licence
Experience, knowledge and safe use of typical woodworking machinery.
CNC knowledge preferable but not required.
Able to manage various work loads for a variety of projects.
Responsibilities of our Carpenter/ Wood Machinist.
Punctual
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work as part of a team as well as taking own initiative when working independently
Safe use of typical woodworking machinery (cross cut, rip saw, planers, spindles and tenoners etc.)
Ability to to assemble and finish and glaze joinery products to a high standard.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £18.00-£26.00 per hour
