We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. As a vital part of the back-of-house staff, you will ensure the kitchen runs smoothly by maintaining cleanliness, assisting chefs, and keeping supplies stocked. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces.
- Wash dishes, pots, and pans efficiently to ensure a steady supply for service.
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
- Ensure all food storage and preparation areas meet hygiene and safety standards.
- Dispose of kitchen waste and keep recycling areas organized.
- Unload and store deliveries, ensuring stock is rotated properly.
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to uphold kitchen hygiene.
Key Requirements:
- No prior experience required, but kitchen experience is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety (training provided).
