About LendWell
LendWell is an AI-native mortgage broker platform operating across the UK and Ireland. We help brokers manage their cases end-to-end — from application through to completion — through a modern, intelligent platform that replaces fragmented tools and manual processes. We're early, ambitious, and building something genuinely different in a market that is ready for change.
The opportunity
This is a senior, standalone product role owning two of LendWell's most important surfaces: the applicant experience — the guided application form, document upload, and everything a client touches directly — and the broker/advisor tooling that lets our brokers manage a case end-to-end.
You'll work closely with engineering, design, and the commercial team to turn a fast-moving, AI-native platform into a product that's genuinely better than the fragmented tools it replaces.
You'll report directly to the VP of Product, with real ownership over roadmap and prioritization across both surfaces — not a narrow slice of a larger backlog.
What you'll own
Applicant experience
End-to-end ownership of the guided application form and document upload flow — from first question to a fully submitted, broker-ready case
Defining and improving the metrics that matter most: speed to submission and quality of submission
Turning applicant feedback — from testing, support, and broker-relayed pain points — into a prioritized, shipped roadmap
Broker / advisor tooling
Owning the advisor-facing case management experience — document review, requirement tracking, client communication
Working with brokers directly to understand where the platform still creates manual work, and closing that gap
Balancing broker efficiency against applicant simplicity when the two pull in different directionsProduct operations
Running a tight, evidence-based prioritisation process — clear roadmap, clear trade-offs, clear reasoning
Partnering with engineering on scoping and sequencing, including known technical constraints across the guided-flow and document-processing pipeline
Owning the requirements and QA loop for your surfaces, catching regressions and gaps early alongside support and success
What we're looking for
Startup experience, ideally at an early-stage company (pre-seed to Series A/B) — comfortable building process rather than inheriting it, and used to wearing more than one hat
5+ years of product management experience, including meaningful time owning a client-facing product surface end-to-end
Experience in fintech, financial services, or another regulated, high-trust industry (mortgages, insurance, banking, or similar)
A track record of shipping complex, multi-step flows — onboarding, applications, document-heavy processes — that real users actually complete, not just launch
Comfortable being hands-on with data: you can look at funnel drop-off or completion data yourself, not just ask someone else to
Strong written communicator — you can turn broker and applicant feedback into a clear, prioritized roadmap engineering can act on
Highly self-directed, comfortable defining your own priorities in a fast-moving, early-stage environment without a fully built-out playbook
Nice to have
Experience with mortgage, lending, or property platforms specifically
Familiarity with the UK or Irish mortgage broker market
Experience working alongside AI/ML-powered document processing or extraction systems
Experience partnering with a growth or commercial function to connect product changes to pipeline outcomes
