We’re looking for an experienced Server to join our team at Gladstone Bistro.
This is a fast-paced hospitality role and we are looking for someone who can confidently take ownership of their own section, deliver excellent service, and remain calm and organised during busy periods.
What we’re looking for:
● Previous experience in a busy restaurant environment
● Confident running your own section from start to finish
● Comfortable taking food and drink orders accurately
● Confident carrying and serving using a tray
● Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for hospitality
● A positive attitude and strong work ethic
● Someone who can think ahead, anticipate guest needs and work efficiently under pressure
The role:
● Providing warm, professional and attentive service
● Managing your own section throughout service
● Taking food and drink orders accurately
● Running food and drinks
● Following our steps of service consistently
● Upselling drinks, desserts and specials where appropriate
● Maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the restaurant
● Supporting your team to ensure smooth service at all times
