Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse RGN to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions.
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in line with legal and organisational requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medication usage, and health management strategies.
- Uphold infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assist with clinical procedures such as wound care, IV therapy, and other treatments as required.
Skills
- Proven experience in patient care within a clinical or hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practice.
- Competence in medication administration, adhering strictly to safety protocols.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Compassionate approach with excellent communication skills to support patients’ emotional well-being.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing clinical demands whilst maintaining high standards of care.
