Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Goods Receiver to join our dynamic bakery, bar and restaurant new opening. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming deliveries to ensure seamless inventory management. Your energetic approach will help maintain efficient restaurant operations, support timely stock standards and uphold safety standards. Duties
- Receive and unload incoming deliveries.
- Inspect deliveries for accuracy, damages, and quality, verifying quantities against purchase orders.
- Counting food stock every Sunday
- Record receipt details into the inventory system (Fourth).
- Organise and stock received items in designated departments, kitchen, restaurant, bar.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven stock management experience.
- Experience with stock management systems, (Fourth) is highly desirable for accurate data entry and inventory control
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout shifts
- Experience within a hospitality environment is preferred due to familiarity with demanding environments
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in recording receipt information and managing stock locations
