Responsibilities
Assist with meal preparation by chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients to support chefs and cooks.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, including counters, utensils, and storage spaces, adhering to food safety regulations.
Support food safety practices by following proper hygiene protocols and handling ingredients safely.
Help with food presentation and plating to ensure attractive and appetizing meals are served.
Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for everyone.
Qualifications
Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards assisting colleagues and serving guests.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if needed.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
