Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance.
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest needs are consistently met.
- Follow established safety and cleaning procedures to promote a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and continued quality service.
- Adhere to all health regulations and company policies related to cleanliness and sanitation.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or requested by management.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel experience or janitorial experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward guest service.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards or janitorial practices is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
