I am supporting a well-established and successful business in Wisbech with their search for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract.
This is a hands on AP role, with overall responsibility for the day to day running of a small but busy AP department, including managing a small team.
Duties will include:
- Supervising day-to-day Accounts Payable activity and team members
- Processing supplier invoices and payment runs
- Purchase order matching and query resolution
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Supporting month-end processes
- Assisting with expenses and supplier set ups
- Providing support and guidance to the wider AP team
Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a senior Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger role
- People management experience is key - proven history of managing a transactional finance team day to day
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident using Excel and finance systems
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
This is a fully office-based role, working 8am–5pm, on a fixed term basis for 12 months. Candidates available to start immediately are preferred.
