About the Role:
As a mechanic, you’ll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles. You’ll work in a friendly and supportive environment where quality workmanship and customer satisfaction are top priorities.
You will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing cars, trucks, and other vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
Completion of wet belts on Eco Boost engines is ideal but not essential
Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a range of vehicles
Tyre fitting
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic tools
Diagnostics & Troubleshooting, using computerised diagnostic tools to identify faults in engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems.
Repairs & Replacements, fixing or replacing faulty parts like brakes, suspensions, batteries, or electrical components.
Routine Maintenance, including performing oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and tune-ups to keep vehicles running smoothly.
Working on modern vehicle technology, including sensors, control modules, and onboard computers.
Explaining issues to customers and providing repair recommendations.
Ensuring all repairs meet safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
Provide excellent customer service and professional advice where needed
What We are Looking For:
Previous experience as a mechanic/vehicle technician
Must have past experience in completion of wet belts on Eco Boost engines
Previous experience Tyre fitting and carrying out services
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair)
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to work efficiently, both independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence
