Tony Gee and Partners is currently recruiting for a CAD Technician to join their multi-disciplinary team based in Manchester.
As a CAD Technician in the Manchester office, you will support our teams to deliver a variety of exciting and interesting projects. We work across multiple sectors, using our design expertise to find innovative solutions for our clients.
Our teams of engineers and technicians develop the solutions together; as a Level 2 Technician you will build on your knowledge to become a skilled member of the team, learning how to produce quality drawings and models using a variety of software including AutoCAD, Civils 3D and Revit.
- Typically 5 or more years’ experience in industry

Use of CAD Software – Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation / Revit / Civil 3D

Experience in any of the following; Structures, Drainage, Civils and Highways working in the Rail / Highways and Power and Energy Sectors.

Ability to produce accurate and appropriate engineering drawings and models in an efficient and effective manner

Good communication skills
- Experience in use of ProjectWise, Forma or other Common Data Environments

EngTech or professional recognition with another institution

Experience or interest in Reinforced Concrete detailing

Experience or Interest in Digital development - Dynamo, Generative components, Python etc.
Minimum BTEC Level 3 / HNC or equivalent in a relevant technical subject
