Location: Tallington, PE9 4RL
Salary: £13.00 per hour starting wage
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
6:00am – 4:00pm, 1-hour unpaid lunch break (two 30-minute breaks)
About Us
Nu-Span Flooring is a leading manufacturer of precast concrete flooring systems, supplying the construction industry throughout the UK.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Concrete Operative to join our production team at our Tallington manufacturing facility.
The Role
This is a hands-on role focused on concrete production. You will be responsible for pouring, levelling and finishing concrete into prepared moulds and production beds, ensuring products are manufactured to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pouring concrete into prepared moulds and production beds.
- Levelling and finishing concrete surfaces.
- Monitoring concrete quality during production.
- Using concrete-related tools and equipment safely.
- Assisting with the curing and finishing process.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Following all Health & Safety procedures.
- Working as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
- Setting up concrete moulds.
Requirements
- Reliable and hardworking.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work well within a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
- Own transport is essential due to the site location.
Previous experience working with concrete, construction, manufacturing or precast products would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
