Overview
We are a beautiful wedding venue and historic manor house, hosting weddings, private events, and exclusive stays throughout the year. We take pride in maintaining exceptionally high standards of cleanliness and presentation, to ensure every guest experiences the venue at its very best.
The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaning Assistant to join our team. You will play an important role in helping maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the manor house, event spaces, and guest areas before, during, and after weddings and events.
This will be a 0 hour contract but our wedding days are Thursday to Sunday and typical shifts would be 7am - 1:00pm / 9:30 - 3:30pm. Occasionally there will be 9-6 shift for deep cleaning as and when required on non-wedding days. Bank holiday working may also be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining event spaces, guest areas, and back-of-house areas
- Preparing the venue to a high standard before weddings and events
- Assisting with post-event cleaning and resetting spaces
- Cleaning guest accommodation and manor house rooms when required
- Ensuring bathrooms, corridors, and communal areas remain spotless
- Supporting the wider venue team to maintain excellent presentation standards
- Ensure all health & safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times
- Promote a positive, professional working environment

- Flexible with working hours, including weekends and bank holidays
- Previous cleaning or hospitality experience is helpful but not essential
