Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote dignity and independence
- Support clients in following personalized care plans designed to meet their specific needs and preferences
- Help with household chores, meal preparation, and medication reminders to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment
- Provide emotional support through effective communication, active listening, and empathetic engagement
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and ensure compliance with all care regulations
- Drive clients to appointments or outings safely when required, utilizing your driving skills to support their activities outside the home
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to deliver consistent, high-quality care tailored to each individual
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately while adapting to changing needs
- Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes
- Valid driving license and experience driving safely in various conditions (nice-to-have)
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to caregiving environments
