Duties
- Operate and programme CNC machines with precision to produce components according to technical drawings and specifications.
- Conduct grinding and milling operations to achieve desired surface finishes and dimensional accuracy.
- Utilise CAD software, including SolidWorks, for designing, modifying, and reviewing machining programmes.
- Perform welding tasks when required to assemble or repair components, ensuring structural integrity.
- Maintain detailed documentation of machining processes, inspections, and quality control measures.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment and hand/power tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in tooling setup, changeover, and calibration to meet production deadlines.
- Support plastics injection moulding processes by preparing moulds and overseeing quality during production runs.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks, ensuring parts are assembled accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols while working with mechanical equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
