Duties
- Prepare and cook a range of pub-style dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for ingredients or supplies
- Support serving staff by ensuring timely food delivery to customers
- Follow all food safety regulations and hygiene practices diligently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy hours
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or pub environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a lively setting
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Prior experience with serving or interacting directly with customers is a plus
