Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Measure and cut roofing materials accurately to fit specific structures using hand tools and power tools
- Install various roofing systems including slate, tiles, or membrane roofing with including felt.
- Inspect existing roofs for damage or deterioration and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sealing, or applying protective coatings to ensure optimal adhesion and longevity
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate project timelines and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in roofing installation and repair with a strong understanding of roofing materials and techniques 5 years min
- Skilled in slating, tiling, flat roofs, harling.
- Proficient with hand tools such as hammers, chisels, tape measures; power tools including drills, saws, nail guns; and fabrication equipment
- Driving licence preferred.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to work at heights and lift heavy materials safely
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving and quality workmanship
