Are you passionate about science and keen to help inspire the next generation? Bourne Community College is seeking a dedicated and organised Science Technician to join our friendly and supportive Science Faculty.
As a Science Technician, you will support teachers in delivering high quality practical work, inspiring students and enabling them to develop a deeper understanding of science. You will also maintain excellent standards of Health and Safety in all areas of the faculty. You will prepare and maintain equipment and materials, assist with lessons and demonstrations, and help ensure compliance with health & safety standards, including COSHH and CLEAPSS guidance.
About You
You will have experience, knowledge and a keen interest for key practical demonstrations that illustrate fundamental scientific concepts and engage students. Your strong IT, administrative and organisational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills will allow you to thrive in this dynamic faculty.

Salary – NJC Grade 4 Points 5-6 £25583 - £25989 p.a. pro rata
37 hours per week starting at 8.00am, term time only plus Inset Days
