Kitchen Porter – Café Near Guildford (10am-4pm)
We’re looking for a part-time (Working hours between 10am-4pm) Kitchen Porter to join our friendly and fast-paced kitchen team at our busy café, located in a picturesque spot just outside Guildford.
We pride ourselves on offering high-quality food and warm, welcoming service. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive team working in a new, fully equipped commercial kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, your role will be to ensure the kitchen is kept clean and tidy, washing up and some basic food prep.
Your duties will include:
- Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy, and organised at all times
- Washing up and operating kitchen equipment (majority of the role)
- Assisting chefs with food preparation
- Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures
What we’re looking for:
- A great team player who can follow instructions and work efficiently
- Someone with a positive, can-do attitude and a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment
- Previous kitchen or food-handling experience — we’ll also provide on-the-job training
Working hours: Midweek & weekend Approx. 10am–3pm or 10am-4pm. Other shifts may be available some weeks.
