Overview
We are looking for a proactive Recycling Coordinator and Forklift Truck Driver to join our team. This role combines overseeing recycling operations with the safe and efficient handling of materials . Responsibilities
- Ensure the efficient collection and delivery of items across site daily.
- Support recycling activities to maintain high environmental and operational standards.
- Handle and store chemicals safely, in full compliance with legislation and company procedures.
- Maintain yard cleanliness and organisation, supporting wider business operations.
- Carry out general housekeeping, gardening, and site maintenance tasks.
- Always operate safely and effectively, following site rules and health & safety policies.
- Take ownership of your work area and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills
- A good communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks.
- Confident, proactive, and forward-thinking in approach.
- Competent in basic computer use and record-keeping.
- Ideally experienced in a production or manufacturing environment (not essential).
- Fluent in English with good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Valid Forklift Licence – desirable but not essential (training available)
- Recent FLT driving experience – desirable but not essential
