Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist/Administrator to join our team. This role involves managing front desk duties, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring smooth daily operations within our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proficient in various computer applications, and demonstrate strong organisational abilities to contribute effectively to our organisation’s success.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls using proper phone etiquette
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate meetings
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Maintain organised filing systems, both digital and physical
- Assist with general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing
- Support team members with administrative requests as needed
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy and welcoming at all times
Qualifications
- Proven office experience or administrative experience preferred
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Good typing speed and data entry accuracy
- Demonstrated phone etiquette and professional communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Organised with strong attention to detail and time management skills
Pay: £28,000.00 per year
