Job Overview
The Sales Support plays an essential role in ensuring the smooth running of our internal sales function. This position focuses on supporting the wider sales team, preparing quotations and tender responses, processing orders, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will act as a key point of contact for customers and internal departments, ensuring our clients receive timely, accurate, and professional support throughout the sales process.Key ResponsibilitiesQuotation & Tender Support
- Prepare accurate, timely quotations for customers based on product specifications and pricing structures.
- Support the preparation and submission of tender documents, ensuring compliance with deadlines and required information.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to gather information needed for quotes and tenders.
Order Processing & Administration
- Process customer orders efficiently through our internal systems.
- Coordinate with the procurement and operations teams to ensure product availability and on-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of quotations, tenders, orders, and customer communications.
Customer Communication
- Serve as a primary internal point of contact for incoming sales inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Provide product information, availability updates, and general support to new and existing customers.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales Team Support
- Collaborate closely with the external sales team to help them meet customer needs and sales targets.
- Assist with preparing sales orders and organising customer documentation.
- Keep up to date with product knowledge, industry developments, and internal processes.
About You
- Experience in a sales support, administration, or customer service role.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build positive customer relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and comfortable learning CRM/ERP systems.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support colleagues across the business.
