Role & Responsibilities
We are looking for a reliable and organised Administrator to join our team in Scotland. This is a varied office-based role, providing general administrative support to the wider team and helping ensure the office runs smoothly.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing general administrative support to the office and wider team
- Answering and responding to emails and telephone enquiries
- Updating and maintaining company records and databases
- Filing and organising documents and paperwork
- Assisting with basic data entry and processing
- Supporting the team with quotations, orders, invoices and other administration as required
- Liaising with customers, suppliers and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner
- Booking meetings and assisting with diary management where required
- Helping to keep internal systems and records accurate and up to date
- Supporting other members of the team with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Carrying out any other reasonable administrative duties to support the smooth running of the office
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administration or office-based role is preferred
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage day-to-day tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly, professional and confident manner
- Good customer service skills
- Proactive and willing to learn
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Previous experience using SAP Business One and/or BigChange Jobwatch would be advantageous but is not essential
- A flexible and positive approach to work
