We are seeking an experienced and professional Sales Assistant to join our high-end jewellery boutique specialising in fine diamonds, rubies, emeralds, engagement rings, wedding bands, and bespoke luxury jewellery.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with the purchase of luxury jewellery, engagement rings, wedding bands, and precious gemstones
- Providing a personalised and high-end customer experience
- Advising customers on diamonds, coloured gemstones, precious metals, and jewellery care
- Conducting basic jewellery valuations and assessments for customer-owned items
- Supporting bespoke jewellery consultations and special orders
- Maintaining product presentation and showroom standards
- Building long-term relationships with local and international clientele
- Handling sales enquiries both in-store and over the phone/email
- Assisting with stock management and general boutique operations
Candidate Requirements
- At least 5 year previous experience within the retail jewellery industry is essential
- Strong knowledge of diamonds, rubies, emeralds, engagement rings, and fine jewellery
- Experience handling jewellery valuations or assessing customer-owned jewellery
- Confident communication and professional presentation
- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and organised
- Good local knowledge and ability to build relationships with local clientele
- Experience in luxury retail or high-value sales preferred
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of diamond grading and gemstone quality
- Experience with bespoke jewellery consultations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced luxury retail environment
