GetFix Ltd are looking for an experienced Commercial Plumber to join our Service & Maintenance team covering our London & South region.

Key Responsibilities
- Be responsible for service and maintenance of all types of plumbing systems
- Proactively identify and undertake heating/plumbing maintenance works (reactive works not yet identified by the client)
- Service/repairs/replacement to HIUs
- Diagnose and repair faults on plumbing and heating systems
- Undertake necessary repairs/replacement of defective plumbing systems and associated ancillaries.
- Power flushing heating systems
- Installing and replacing TMVs and pipework
- Repairing pipework
- Diagnosing faults related to LTHW, HWS and CWS systems
- Maintain stock control system as directed
- Maintain the cleanliness of all areas of work
- To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents/records are completed and sent to the office as required
- Be part of an Out of Hours call out rota, attend emergency repair work
- Escalate issues to Supervisor and Contract Manager immediately
- Help the office team create quotations based on your reports, site surveys and information provided by yourself
- Liaise with residents and clients as and when required about the works being undertaken
- Manage own work and jobs and deliver to high standards
What you'll have
Essential:
- 3-5 years of industry experience
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating or equivalent
- Knowledge and understanding of water hygiene and legionella including compliance requirements in communal and domestic water systems
- Excellent fault finding skills
- Full, clean UK Driving Licence
- Ability to pass a DBS Check
Desirable:
- Previous use of our Job Management software BigChange or working knowledge of mobile PDA systems
- Experience of working within the Social Housing sector on plumbing/gas/renewable maintenance contracts
- Unvented hot water systems would be advantageous

Pay: £38,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
