We offer a 40-hour a week contract, working 5 days or 4 days depending on shift , can be 10h shift or 8h
We also offer a limited food offering so there will be involvement in food service and preparation too. It really is an environment where we all get involved with every aspect of the operation. You must also be comfortable working alone. A quick start is available for the right person too - no waiting around for weeks!

And just to clear a few things up:
- Shifts are a 5 days in 2 days off, working 8 or 10 hours shifts.
- Uniform is most definitely not a suit and tie
- Yes, there is weekend work.
- We celebrate uniqueness, everything cheesy and tongue-in-cheek, and most of all want to have hours of smiles every day! We are not a corporate environment and you have a lot of freedom to be creative in this role.
- We don’t have a room service operation.
A typical night will see you arrive, help out on the bar and reception until the front desk team leave at around 10pm. Then the building is yours! You will be working in pairs. Clean over the bar area and lobby, spend time updating the artwork on the walls and bar with a supply of chalk pens, then on to night audit. There may be some small food preparation and bar service from time to time but the most important thing is making sure our guests are happy and safe which involves dealing with any issues that arise. We train you in everything you need to know, but due to the nature of the role we will prefer candidates with experience of hotel operations (especially nights) within a city environment.
As lone working is involved sometimes, you must be comfortable to be alone overnight (we do have regular contact from a central nights team for security), and we make sure you have the authority you need to deal with situations as they arise.
