Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly organised, compassionate, and motivated Care Coordinator to join our team in Leicestershire. This role is ideal for experienced care professionals looking to progress into a coordination role.
We are looking for an individual with previous experience working in a similar care setting who is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring excellent care delivery through effective rota planning, staff support, and coordination of service user needs.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have previous experience working as an HR Coordinator or in a recruitment role. A care background is essential to ensure alignment with service expectations and care standards.
The individual will be expected to take on a supervisory role, with opportunities for further development and progression within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for recruitment, including interviews, onboarding, and offboarding of staff.
- Ensure all staff remain compliant with CQC standards and internal company policies.
- Act as a key point of contact for service users, families, and staff, addressing concerns and maintaining professional communication at all times.
- Assist with the investigation and resolution of complaints, ensuring accurate record-keeping in line with company policy.
- Use the care management system to maintain accurate documentation and monitor service delivery.
- Provide ongoing support and supervision to field staff, including regular check-ins and training guidance.
- Liaise with social workers, NHS professionals, and local authorities to coordinate care services effectively.
- Participate in the on-call rota for out-of-hours service delivery as required.
- Ensure services consistently meet CQC regulations and internal quality standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in a Care Supervisor, Care Coordinator, or similar leadership role within a care setting.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to be trained in office-based coordination tasks.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure.
- Comfortable using care management systems and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, person-centred care and continuous professional development.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or currently working towards).
Desirable:
- Experience supporting or completing pre-assessments, reviews, and complaint handling.
- Familiarity with CQC compliance and regulatory standards in a regulated care environment.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
