Join our vibrant team in London as a Wine Events Assistant and become a key part of creating memorable, engaging wine experiences for our clients. In this energetic role, you will support the setup, and execution of wine trade events. Your enthusiasm for hospitality, team work and attention to detail will help ensure each event runs smoothly.
Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and organization of wine events, including setting up tasting stations and arranging seating arrangements.
Provide excellent guest services by welcoming attendees, answering questions about wines, and guiding them through tasting experiences with enthusiasm.
Support catering staff with food safety practices, food preparation, and serving during events to ensure a seamless experience.
Help manage event logistics such as inventory checks, wine pouring, and cleanup to maintain a professional environment.
Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and team members to ensure timely delivery of wines and catering supplies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of event spaces before, during, and after each occasion.
Contribute to creating an atmosphere that highlights our commitment to hospitality excellence.
Qualifications
Previous experience in hospitality is highly desirable.
Strong guest service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude.
Familiarity with wine varieties and tasting procedures is preferable. WSET qualifications welcome.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential.
Pay: From £20.50 per hour
