7 Hospitality Management is looking for a dynamic Housekeeper with a positive, can do attitude,to join us in this exciting opportunity. Full time and part time positions available, based out of our Ardoe House Hotel property in Ardoe.
Located in 30 acres of stunning grounds, this 19th century baronial mansion of Ardoe House Hotel & Spa is the perfect destination for business or leisure. Recently refurbished, this stunning property features 120 stylish bedrooms. An excellent destination for conferences, weddings and other social gatherings with six event suites and the ability to accommodate up to 600 guests.
What will I be doing?
As a Housekeeping Team Member for the Ardoe House Hotel, we are looking for a positive can do attitude to drive exceptional standards and guest experience. You will be responsible for the following tasks;
- To ensure bedrooms are cleaned to the highest standard and well presented as per company standards
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed
- Ensure rooms are cleaned and ready within the set timelines
- Ensure bedrooms are cleaned and turned around within the given parameters
- To ensure all tasks are being carried out and checklists are completed
- To support the General Manager in any other tasks given to you to support the overall hotel operations
- To support and control expenditure and costs within the department
- Liaise with maintenance team on any room maintenance or public area maintenance needs
- Ensure all public areas are maintained and cleaned to a high standard
What are we looking for?
A Housekeeper serving 7 Hospitality Management managed hotels is always working on behalf of our Guests, Owners and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role you must possess the attitudes, behaviours, skills and values that follow;
- Previous experience in the same or similar role (2+ years within same role is desirable)
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work under own initiative
- High attention to detail with exceptional cleanliness standards
- Positive & welcoming attitude with excellent communication skills
- Previous experience within the hotel industry or accommodation services
