Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chartered Legal Executive specialising in Conveyancing to join our reputable legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of property transactions, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and providing exceptional service to clients. Responsibilities
- Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documentation such as contracts, transfer deeds, and leases.
- Conducting property searches, liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other relevant parties.
- Ensuring all transactions comply with current legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Providing clear advice to clients on legal processes and progress updates throughout the transaction.
- Organising and prioritising workload effectively to meet deadlines.
- Maintaining accurate case files and updating case management systems efficiently.
- Assisting junior team members where required and contributing to the overall success of the department.
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Legal Executive with specialisation in Conveyancing.
- Proven experience managing residential property transactions from inception to completion.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly.
- Strong IT skills, including familiarity with case management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Good time management skills ensuring efficient workflow and client satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach with high attention to detail and accuracy in all work undertaken.
