We are seeking a professional and personable Night Porter/Receptionist to join our team. Duties
- Welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and professional first impression
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently and courteously
- Handle phone enquiries with exemplary phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve any issues with professionalism and discretion
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring guest safety throughout the night
- Keep the reception area organised, tidy, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Record all relevant guest information accurately in the system
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any guest concerns or facility issues during your shift
- Assist with administrative tasks such as logging incidents or reporting maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel reception or guest services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to converse confidently in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Demonstrable hospitality or customer service experience, demonstrating a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during night shifts and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of hotel management systems is desirable but not mandatory
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays if required
