Join OhMyFood as we launch London’s first home‑cooked food marketplace. This is a remote 45‑day volunteer role for Phase 1, with a 30‑day HR review and the possibility of future paid or full‑time opportunities based on performance, business needs, and role availability.
You’ll help shape OhMyFood’s digital presence by creating engaging content, supporting chef storytelling, managing community interactions, and helping us build a warm, relatable brand across social platforms. Ideal for someone creative, organised, social‑media savvy, and excited to help build a food‑tech startup from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute OhMyFood’s social media strategy for Phase 1 launch.
- Plan content calendars across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Create engaging captions, campaign ideas, reel concepts, and storytelling formats around home‑cooked food, chefs, and community.
- Work closely with the Senior Graphic Designer and content team to produce high‑quality visual and video content.
- Lead social media campaigns tailored for the UK food, hospitality, and consumer market.
- Manage daily community engagement- comments, messages, brand mentions, and audience interactions.
- Identify trends, sounds, formats, and influencer opportunities relevant to food and lifestyle audiences.
- Support influencer outreach, creator collaborations, and community‑led growth.
- Track performance metrics: reach, engagement, follower growth, conversions, and campaign results.
- Share weekly reports with insights, learnings, and recommendations.
- Ensure all content aligns with OhMyFood’s brand voice, values, and customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in social media management, content strategy, digital marketing, or brand communications.
- Strong experience managing social media for food, hospitality, D2C, marketplace, lifestyle, or consumer brands.
- Proven ability to plan and execute campaigns from idea to delivery.
- Excellent storytelling, copywriting, and caption‑writing skills with a warm, food‑focused tone.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and current trends.
- Experience with influencer marketing, creator collaborations, and community growth is a plus.
- Comfortable using tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, Later, Metricool, etc.
- Basic understanding of Canva, Figma, or similar design tools.
- Ability to analyse metrics and turn insights into clear actions.
- Self‑driven, organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable in an early‑stage startup environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or related fields preferred (not mandatory).
