Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Care Manager to oversee the daily operations of our care home. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, dementia care, and management, ensuring the delivery of high-quality support to residents. Duties
- Lead and supervise care staff, ensuring the delivery of compassionate and professional care in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Develop, review, and implement personalised care plans tailored to individual needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's care.
- Oversee medication administration procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
- Monitor residents’ wellbeing, responding promptly to any changes in health or behaviour.
- Coordinate staff rotas, organise training sessions, and promote ongoing professional development within the team.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all records are compliant with legal and organisational policies.
- Foster positive relationships with residents’ families and external healthcare professionals to ensure holistic support.
- Ensure the care home operates efficiently whilst maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and comfort.
Skills
- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home environments, with a strong understanding of senior and dementia care.
- Demonstrable leadership and management skills, including supervising teams effectively.
- Knowledge of care planning processes and medication administration protocols.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Compassionate approach with a genuine commitment to enhancing residents’ quality of life.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements governing care homes and home care services.
- Previous experience in managing or supervising staff within a care environment is highly desirable.

Pay: £30,557.64-£57,324.86 per year
