Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Yard/Warehouse Operative to join our team in Broxburn.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse and yard areas.
Much of the role requires operation of a forklift, whilst valid ticket is advantageous, it is not essential as full training will be provided.

Duties
- Adhere to all company Health & Safety standards.
- Safely load and unload goods using forklifts and manual handling techniques, ensuring proper stacking and storage.
- Manage stock levels by replenishing materials as needed.
- Prepare orders for dispatch: packing, picking and labeling items efficiently and accurately.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, verifying deliveries against purchase orders and documentation.
- Conduct regular yard inspections, monitor security fences, and perform visual checks to maintain safety of equiptment.
Skills
- Previous warehouse or construction experience is advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Excellent organizational skills for stock management, picking & packing, shipping & receiving tasks.
