Overview
We are currently looking to recruit a Mobile/ Workshop LCV Technician to maintain a fleet of home shopping vehicles consisting of a mix of Mercedes Sprinters, Iveco Daily’s & Ford Transit's. Reporting to the Engineering Manager the Mobile Technicians are responsible for the repair and maintenance of vehicles in his / her area.
Based on a 40 hour working week (8:30pm - 5.00am) Monday – Friday. 30 Mins for lunch, overtime can weekday evening , Also weekends on call,
21 Days Holiday plus 8 bank holidays

Duties
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Overtime Available
- Perform repairs and maintenance on cars and vans, including engine work, brake repairs, suspension, and electrical systems
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialised machinery to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
- Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance
- MOT preparations and presentationsContracted Hours
- Assemble or disassemble vehicle components as required for repair or replacement
- Read and interpret technical schematics and manuals to facilitate accurate repairs
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and fluid top-ups
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for each vehicle
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients
- Proven experience with vehicle maintenance and repair, particularly with cars or vans
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Must be able to work on their own initiative, managing their own workload, paperwork, and basic stock control,

Pay: £26,420.00-£49,619.34 per year
