Primary Job Function
Due to continued growth, we are looking for additional candidates to fulfil the positions of general operatives and pipe layers to join our irrigation installation teams. This role would suit Greenkeepers and Groundspersons used to working outdoors in all weathers, and will involve working away from home on golf course, sports turf and landscape projects throughout the UK and occasionally in Europe. The position will involve working on a 10 night away, 4 night home shift pattern with excellent earning potential with excellent accommodation and overnight expenses provided.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Able and willing to work as part of a busy team.
- Able to work flexibly.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy working environment.
- Attend training courses as required to enhance knowledge.
Skills and Attributes
- CSCS/CPCS/NPORS card holder preferred but training can be given.
- You will need to hold a full UK or equivalent driving licence.
- Machine operating experience an advantage.
- Experience in sports turf maintenance and advantage but training can be given.
- Highly organised and motivated.
- Would suit personnel from a greenkeeping / groundsman or agricultural background.
