We are looking for a vigilant individual to carry out housekeeping and breakfast serving within our guest house, situated in the picturesque village of Braithwaite, Keswick.
Applicants need to have the flexibility to work hours across Saturday and Sunday, working one of those days per week, with potentially varying days one weekend to the next, and potentially working both days on occasion, by prior agreement.
We are also looking for this person to be able to complete additional hours during school holidays and to provide cover for other staff, when required.
Job role duties include servicing/full cleans of guest rooms; cleaning of communal areas; and assisting with breakfast service.
Required skills include organisation, ability to work unsupervised, high standards, initiative, strong customer service skills and excellent eye for detail.
The normal working day, if required for breakfast service, involves an 8.15am start. On non-breakfast service days, start times are usually 9am. The usual latest working time is 4pm.
