Job Overview
Looking for a kitchen assistant/cook with good experience in working in fast past kitchen to prep multiple dishes to order. This job will require the candidate to also prep hot and cold drinks and pot wash. Candidate needs to live locally and must be available to work on weekends and at least some weekdays.

Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients
- Cook and assemble meals according to specified recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and cleaning surfaces
- Support stock management by monitoring inventory levels and notifying supervisors of supplies needed
- Follow food safety protocols at all times to prevent contamination or spoilage
- Assist with serving meals to customers or clients as required
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably within a restaurant or catering environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the kitchen environment
- Previous experience in meal preparation, serving, or culinary roles is advantageous but not essential
