About the Role
Seville Developments is looking for an experienced FRA Projects & Compliance Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a highly organised professional with experience in passive fire protection, fire doors, fire stopping, and fire risk assessment (FRA) remedial works.
The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating fire safety projects from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring works are delivered on time, correctly certified, and fully compliant with relevant standards and third-party accreditation requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate FRA projects involving fire doors, fire stopping, compartmentation, and passive fire protection works.
- Review FRA actions, client instructions, work orders, and project scopes prior to mobilisation.
- Prepare and manage weekly and daily work programmes for directly employed operatives and subcontractors.
- Issue clear and accurate site instructions covering scope of works, locations, access arrangements, and completion requirements.
- Coordinate resident appointments, site access, deliveries, and material requirements.
- Monitor project progress against client deadlines, proactively identifying and escalating delays, access issues, or resource shortages.
- Maintain accurate project trackers, recording scheduled, completed, outstanding, and certified works.
- Prepare, quality-check, and submit certification records through FIRAS, IFC Certification, and other relevant third-party schemes.
- Review installation evidence, including photographs, product details, batch information, installer records, measurements, and identification labels.
- Ensure all evidence meets company, manufacturer, certification body, and client requirements before submission.
- Compile completion packs, O&M manuals, technical documentation, and client handover information.
- Identify incomplete or non-compliant submissions and coordinate corrective actions with site teams.
- Liaise with Contracts Managers, Project Managers, Supervisors, clients, residents, and subcontractors.
- Support preparation of RAMS, permits, asbestos information, site information, and other pre-start documentation.
- Record variations, aborted visits, access failures, and additional works for management approval.
- Assist with internal compliance audits and external FIRAS/IFC audits.
- Ensure certification activities remain within the company's approved scope and are completed by authorised personnel.
- Attend site visits as required to verify progress, resolve operational issues, and communicate project requirements.
- Promote high standards of health and safety, quality, compliance, record keeping, and customer service.
About You
- Experience in project coordination, compliance administration, scheduling, construction, maintenance, building services, passive fire protection, or a similar environment.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
- Confident communicating with operatives, subcontractors, clients, and residents.
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and digital project management systems.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and seeing tasks through to completion.
