Duties
- Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to recipes and standards
- Cook a variety of menu items while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentation standards
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and organization of workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure a safe dining environment
- Help with meal assembly and serving to ensure timely delivery of hot, fresh dishes
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Collaborate with team members to execute daily kitchen tasks efficiently and effectively
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or cooking within a restaurant or catering setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques
- Strong skills in meal preparation, cooking, and kitchen sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and servers
- Culinary experience or training is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Serving experience or familiarity with customer service is advantageous
