We are looking for a nursery cleaner who will work alongside our set of practitioners keeping our setting clean and tidy.
The hours of work will be 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 6am to 9am.
You will need to be available to start the position as soon as possible.
Purpose of Post
1. To provide a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the nursery.

2. Develop routines to ensure all areas of the nursery are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness
Responsible To:
3. Nursery Manager
Main Duties;
1. Clean all windows and vision panels, both indoors and outdoors.
2. Hoover, sweep and mop floors throughout the nursery daily.
3. Clean children’s main bathroom thoroughly each day and restock items as necessary, e.g. soap, paper towels, etc.
4. Clean staff toilet and sink.
5. Remove any cobwebs off lights, alarm sensors, walls using hoover.
6. Clean all telephones.
7. Dust wooden fixings and furniture e.g. window sills, skirting boards, desks, door frames, etc
8. Clean all bins and lids, disinfecting inside and out.
9. Mop heads to be washed and filter in hoover to be cleaned as per operator’s instructions.
This is not an exhaustive list and is individual to each nursery.
The right candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS to confirm their suitability to work with children.
