Duties
- Assess vehicle damage and determine the necessary repairs with precision and attention to detail
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove dents, straighten panels, and replace damaged parts effectively
- Perform sanding, filling, priming, and painting to achieve a flawless finish that meets quality standards
- Conduct heavy lifting of vehicle parts and components safely to facilitate repairs and replacements
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete repairs efficiently and uphold high-quality standards
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge related to vehicle body structures and repair techniques
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, chisels, screwdrivers, and wrenches
- Experience operating power tools including grinders, sanders, drills, and spray guns
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while handling vehicle parts or equipment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in automotive body repair or related field is preferred but not mandatory
