Due to ongoing success, Artisan Bakes full time cleaner/kitchen porter
We are a Wholesale Craft Bakery building up a small, strong team to bake our large range of fresh, on trend, cakes, tray bakes, cupcakes, muffins, tarts etc as well as vegan and gluten free products for a diverse range venues including cafes, farm shops, universities & conference centres and wholesalers. We only use the finest ingredients and traditional craft methods!

Key responsibilities
- Cleaning production areas, kitchens, floors and staff facilities including toilets
- Washing baking trays, utensils, containers and production equipment
- Emptying bins and correctly disposing of waste
- Cleaning and sanitising work surfaces
- Following food hygiene, health and safety, and cleaning procedures
- Restocking cleaning supplies and reporting low stock
- Helping keep storage and delivery areas tidy
- Assisting the production team with basic tasks when required
- Completing scheduled deep-cleaning duties
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Is dependable, punctual and hardworking
- Takes pride in maintaining high cleaning standards
- Can work efficiently in a busy food-production environment
- Is comfortable with physical work and being on their feet
- Can safely lift and move stock, bins and equipment
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Understands the importance of food hygiene and workplace safety
