Position Summary
Kitchen Porter-Assistant.
Local and Car Driver Required
Part time contract. Evenings and weekends are required.
Our Kitchen Assistants make sure that our kitchen equipment and back of house areas are kept spotless, tidy and safe.
We offer straight shifts, and a flexible rota and a great working environment with like minded colleagues of all ages!
Key Responsibilities:
- To maintain high standards of cleanliness are achieved in the Kitchen areas, crockery, cutlery and equipment
- To ensure all equipment is stored correctly and allocated to the designated areas
- To dispose of rubbish into designated areas and to preserve standards of cleanliness in these areas.
- To ensure Health and Safety and Food Safety legislation are adhered to; this will involve appropriate training.
- To ensure that you are correctly dressed, adhere to high personal hygiene standards.
- Cleaning all small kitchen equipment that is used throughout the day
Skills and Experience
Hotel or Restaurant experience necessary.
The role will appeal to quick learners and fast workers who enjoy working as part of a team. A high level of attention to detail is required in order to maintain our excellent standards of cleanliness.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
