Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare fresh burgers, fries, and other menu items according to company standards and food safety regulations
- Serve customers efficiently while providing friendly, engaging service to enhance their experience
- Manage cash transactions accurately and handle POS (Point of Sale) systems with confidence
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food prep area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities and promote special offers or new products
- Assist with stock replenishment, inventory checks, and restocking supplies as needed
- Support the overall operation of the van by managing time effectively during busy periods and ensuring timely service
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or working in a restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
- Basic math skills for handling cash and calculating change accurately
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
- Experience in serving customers with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Kitchen or culinary experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods
