Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our team. This role involves providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. The successful candidate will utilise their excellent organisational skills, computer proficiency, and professional communication abilities to manage various clerical tasks efficiently. Responsibilities
- Manage daily administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and document preparation
- Handle incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette
- Organise schedules, appointments, and meetings to optimise office workflow
- Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications for document creation, editing, and collaboration
- Maintain accurate records using QuickBooks and other relevant software programmes
- Assist with invoicing, billing, and financial record keeping
- Support team members with general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and mail distribution
- Ensure the office environment remains tidy and well-organised at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Fast and accurate typing skills with a keen eye for detail
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly
- Previous office experience combined with good communication skills and professional phone manner is desirable
Pay: Up to £16.00 per hour
