The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and residential projects. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with safety standards and building codes
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete plumbing tasks efficiently
- Conduct inspections to identify faults or leaks and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Assist with the assembly of plumbing components and systems during new installations or renovations
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation or repairs
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised after completion of tasks
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as electricians or carpenters when necessary for integrated projects
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Experience
- Proven experience as a qualified plumber with a strong understanding of plumbing systems in both commercial and residential settings
- Proficiency in welding, use of hand tools, power tools, and basic carpentry skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing components and systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience in commercial driving is advantageous but not essential
- Familiarity with assembly processes related to plumbing installations
- Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations required during installations or repairs
Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities, organisational skills, and a commitment to safety standards. A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory. The role offers an engaging work environment where professionalism and technical expertise are highly valued.
Pay: £45.00-£60.00 per hour
